  Loved your lead in to the sermon and tying it together at the conclusion of your message about the differing responses to “bad news”– the “fight response” and the tendency to want to “kill the bearer of it”. The passages came alive as you explained them within the cultural, religious and historical contexts of that day ( to say nothing of the hysterical response of the “Nazrethites”). Superb “living lessons” and admonitions to carry into daily living and witness and encouragement to stay true and “stand firm” in what is becoming a treacherous time in our own land. Even so come Lord Jesus!! Keep up the good work. I have been blessed in the listening and I know many others are as well.
